Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the irresistible flavors of garlic and Parmesan cheese. With a crispy, golden crust and tender, juicy chicken inside, this dish is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup melted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the melted butter, coating it thoroughly. Then dredge the chicken into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the crust is golden and crispy.
  5. Transfer the chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
