TikTok Spaghetti is a viral baked pasta dish that blends creamy Alfredo sauce with hearty red meat sauce, layered with spaghetti and topped with melted mozzarella for a comforting and indulgent casserole-style meal.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup chopped yellow onion

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 pound ground beef (80/20)

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

3/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

36 ounces (1 1/2 jars) spaghetti sauce

1 tablespoon salt (for pasta water)

16 ounces spaghetti

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in garlic; cook until fragrant. Add ground beef; cook until browned, then drain excess grease.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Pour in spaghetti sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan until melted and thickened.
  8. Toss cooked spaghetti with Alfredo sauce and spread in the prepared baking dish.
  9. Top with red meat sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
