Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

½ cup sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onions and minced garlic, cooking until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices like garlic powder, paprika, or Worcestershire sauce. Drain excess fat.

  • Prepare Creamy Mixture: Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream into the beef mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  • Assemble Casserole: Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly at the bottom, and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  • Add Tater Tots: Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.

  • Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
