Ingredients

1 box of strawberry cake mix

½ cup salted butter, melted

1 large egg, room temperature

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 oz cream cheese, room temperature

1 cup white chocolate chips

½ cup M&Ms (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until smooth.

  • Gradually add the strawberry cake mix, half at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  • Stir in the white chocolate chips and M&Ms by hand.

  • Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour (optional).

  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Bake for 9–10 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers are soft.

  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Add-ins: You can substitute the M&Ms with chocolate chips, sprinkles, or chopped dried strawberries.

  • Storage: Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

  • Chilling time: Refrigerating the dough is optional, but it helps the cookies hold their shape better while baking.
