A refreshing and vibrant twist on the classic matcha latte, combining earthy matcha and sweet, fruity strawberry flavor for a unique and nutritious treat.

Ingredients

1 tsp matcha powder

1 cup milk of your choice (almond, oat, or dairy)

2 tbsp strawberry puree or fresh strawberries (blended)

1-2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

Ice cubes (optional, for an iced version)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with a small amount of hot water (about 2 tablespoons) until smooth and frothy.
  2. In a separate container, heat the milk of your choice until warm, but not boiling.
  3. Blend fresh strawberries to make a smooth puree.
  4. In a glass, pour the strawberry puree at the bottom.
  5. Add the prepared matcha to the glass.
  6. Slowly pour the warm milk over the matcha and strawberry layers.
  7. Stir gently to combine and add sweetener, if desired.
  8. Optionally, add ice cubes to make it an iced drink or serve it warm.

Notes

  • If you prefer an iced version, use cold milk and ice cubes.
