Perfect for St. Patrick's Day parties, these Oreo treats are a hit with kids and adults alike. You can customize them with different colors, toppings, and even use gluten-free Oreos for dietary needs.

Ingredients

  • Oreos (regular or family-size pack)
  • White chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Green food coloring
  • Rainbow sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips or wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and fully melted.
  • Add a few drops of green food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir until you achieve the desired shade of green.
  • Dip each Oreo cookie into the green chocolate, coating it completely. Tap the cookie on the side of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.
  • Place the dipped Oreos onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
  • Let the cookies set at room temperature for 15-20 minutes or refrigerate them for quicker setting.

Notes

  • If you prefer a different chocolate flavor, you can use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
  • For extra texture and fun, add crushed nuts, marshmallows, or colorful candy as toppings.
  • To make them more festive, you can use shaped cookie cutters on the Oreos, although they may break a little.
  • Store the treats in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature, or refrigerate them for up to 1 week.
