Snickers Salad is a delightful dessert that combines the tartness of Granny Smith apples, the sweetness of Snickers candy bars, and a creamy vanilla pudding base, topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce.

Ingredients

3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix

¾ cup whole milk

8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beat to stiff peaks

6 Granny Smith apples, divided (reserve 1 for garnish)

6 Snickers bars, full-size (reserve 1 for garnish)

¼ cup caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the Cool Whip or whipped cream until fully combined.
  3. Core and chop all but one of the Granny Smith apples into bite-sized pieces. To prevent browning, you can toss the apple pieces with lemon juice or 7-Up if preparing in advance.
  4. Chop all but one Snickers bar into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Gently fold the chopped apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Just before serving, top the salad with the reserved apple and Snickers pieces. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can mix in other fruits like grapes or bananas for extra flavor.
  • While Granny Smith apples provide the perfect tartness, feel free to swap them with another apple variety if you prefer a sweeter flavor.
  • Try Snickers' variations or experiment with other candy bars like Milky Way or Butterfingers for a different twist.
  • This salad is best served cold and should not be reheated.
