Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of beef, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add olive oil and cook the chicken breasts over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Stir in the fresh spinach until wilted.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken and beef to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute boneless chicken thighs for chicken breasts for a juicier, more flavorful dish.
  • Frozen spinach works fine but make sure to thaw and drain it thoroughly before using.
  • To add some heat, consider adding red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper during the cooking process.
  • You can replace the Parmesan cheese with Pecorino Romano or Asiago for a different flavor profile.
