This seafood pasta recipe features tender shrimp and succulent scallops in a buttery garlic wine sauce. It's a quick and flavorful dish, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb scallops
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 12 oz pasta (such as spaghetti or linguine)
  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 shrimp (peeled, deveined)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 3 oz butter
  • ⅓ cup dry white wine
  • 4 wedges lemon (for serving)

Instructions

  • Prepare Scallops – Soak in a brine for 10 minutes, then pat dry.
  • Cook Pasta – Boil in salted water; set timer for 7 minutes.
  • Sear Seafood – Heat olive oil in a pan, sear scallops for 1.5 minutes. Add shrimp, garlic, and parsley. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Make the Sauce – Deglaze with white wine, scraping the pan. Reduce, then stir in butter until melted.
  • Combine – Toss pasta with the seafood sauce, adding pasta water if needed.
  • Serve – Garnish with lemon wedges and enjoy with crusty bread.
