Quick Chicken and Broccoli Nuggets for Baby are soft, nutritious finger foods made with minced chicken, broccoli, cheese, and breadcrumbs. These bite-sized nuggets cook quickly and are perfect for babies learning to eat solid foods.

Ingredients

6 broccoli florets, finely chopped

150 grams minced chicken

1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup shredded cheese

1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Finely chop or pulse the broccoli florets in a food processor until very small.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped broccoli, panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, shredded cheese, and egg.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  5. Scoop small portions of the mixture and shape them into bite-sized nugget pieces.
  6. Place the nuggets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the nuggets are cooked through and lightly golden.
  8. Allow the nuggets to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Finely chopped spinach, zucchini, or carrots can replace broccoli.
  • Mild cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan can be used for different flavors.
  • For pan cooking, cook nuggets in a lightly oiled skillet for 3–4 minutes per side.
