This Pecan Pie Cobbler offers the best of both worlds— the sweet, nutty flavor of pecan pie with the warm, gooey texture of a cobbler. A simple yet decadent dessert made with chopped pecans, brown sugar, and a buttery batter, this recipe is an easy-to-make crowd-pleaser that’s perfect for holiday dinners, family gatherings, or casual get-togethers. Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an irresistible indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Do not stir; the pecans will float to the top as it bakes.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  8. Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgence, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
  • You can experiment with different nuts or add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a spiced twist.
  • Make ahead by preparing the cobbler a day before and reheating in the oven.
