Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats combine creamy peanut butter with crispy Rice Krispies cereal and melted marshmallows for a quick, no-bake, sweet snack perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows (about 5 cups)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the mixture and gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking pan, using a spatula or wax paper to evenly spread and compact the mixture.
  6. Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
