Description: Peach Dump Cake is a simple and indulgent dessert made with juicy peaches and a buttery cake topping. With minimal ingredients and easy preparation, this warm, gooey treat is perfect for any occasion. Optional add-ins like nuts and spices elevate the flavor, making it customizable to your taste.

Ingredients

1 large can (29 oz) sliced peaches in heavy syrup (or 45 cups fresh or frozen peaches)

1 box yellow or white cake mix (your favorite brand)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (sliced into thin pats)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for added warmth)

Optional Add-Ins:

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for crunch)

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (for extra spice)

1/2 cup brown sugar (for extra sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or spray it with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Drain the canned peaches (if using) and spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. If using fresh or frozen peaches, toss them with 1–2 tablespoons of sugar before adding them to the dish.

  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches, covering the entire surface.

  4. Place the sliced butter evenly over the cake mix. The butter will melt as it bakes, creating a golden, crumbly topping.

  5. Sprinkle cinnamon (and optional nuts or brown sugar) over the top.

  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly around the edges.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool slightly before serving.

  8. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
