Ingredients

Beef (cut into bite-sized pieces)

Maple syrup

Brown sugar

Dijon mustard

Soy sauce

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Salt and black pepper

Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  • Season the Beef: In a bowl, season the beef pieces with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  • Make the Maple Glaze: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

  • Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a light coating of cooking spray or oil. Add the beef pieces in a single layer and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Add the Glaze: Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the maple glaze over the beef. Toss to coat evenly and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Serve: Serve hot and fresh, garnished with additional black pepper or fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • If you want a thicker glaze, simmer it longer.

  • The glaze can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  • Gluten-free options are available by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
