Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a small baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Mix Base: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add Crab & Cheese: Gently fold in lump crab meat, shredded mozzarella, and cheddar cheese. Mix carefully to keep the crab meat in larger pieces.
  4. Bake: Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add chopped jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
  • If you want to add shrimp, combine cooked shrimp with the crab for a surf-and-turf dip.
  • To make it low-carb, serve the dip with veggies like cucumber slices or bell pepper strips instead of crackers.
