Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the salt, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
