Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in the garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced zucchini to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender but still has a bit of bite.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can add more veggies like mushrooms, spinach, or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrients.
  • If you like heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or chopped jalapeños.
  • For extra flavor, top with grated Parmesan or mozzarella cheese.
  • You can swap ground turkey with ground chicken, beef, or a plant-based meat alternative.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
