Garlic Parmesan Wings are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, coated in a rich garlic butter sauce and Parmesan cheese. Perfect for game days, parties, or a delicious weeknight treat.

Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings, cut into drumettes and wingettes

2 tablespoons salted butter, melted

2 teaspoons sea salt

2 teaspoons dried parsley

1½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried basil

½ teaspoon ground white pepper or ground black pepper

6 tablespoons salted butter, melted (for garlic Parmesan coating)

1 tablespoon minced garlic

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper, place a rack on top, and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of melted butter over the wings and toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine sea salt, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and white pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings and rub it gently on both sides.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared rack and baking sheet. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. While the wings bake, mix the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter and minced garlic in a medium bowl.
  6. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wings and return them to the oven to bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the Parmesan is lightly browned.
  8. Serve with ranch dressing and a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for garnish.

Notes

  • For air fryer wings, preheat the air fryer to 400°F and follow similar instructions, air frying in batches if necessary.
  • Experiment with additional spices like smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, or brown sugar for a different flavor.
  • For spicy garlic Parmesan wings, add red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
  • For a tangy twist, add lemon zest and lemon juice to the garlic butter mixture.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
