A comforting and flavorful Garlic Cheddar Chicken Bake featuring tender chicken breasts topped with a creamy, cheesy garlic mixture, perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

6 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

1¼ cups grated cheddar cheese, divided

4 cloves garlic, pressed

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp ground black pepper

Green onions, freshly chopped (for garnish)

Parsley, freshly chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, ¾ cup of cheddar cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Season each side of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lay them flat in a large baking dish.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley before serving.
