Ingredients

Main Dish:

lbs steak bites (sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)

3 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini

Alfredo Sauce:

2 tbsp butter

2 cups heavy cream

1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated for best results)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Sear the Steak Bites: In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak and set aside, keeping the garlic butter in the pan.

  • Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and add 2 tbsp butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss the cooked tortellini into the Alfredo sauce, stirring gently to coat.

  • Assemble and Serve: Plate the tortellini and top with steak bites. Drizzle with reserved garlic butter and garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, or chili flakes for heat.

Notes

  • Protein Swap: Substitute the steak with grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu.

  • Herb Additions: Add fresh basil or thyme to the Alfredo sauce for added flavor.

  • Mushrooms & Sun-Dried Tomatoes: For an earthy twist, add sautéed mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
