Ingredients

4 bone-in beef chops (rib or loin)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped (optional)

1 teaspoon thyme, chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Season beef chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.

  • Lower heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until garlic becomes fragrant.

  • Return beef chops to skillet. Spoon garlic butter sauce over chops. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, basting the chops until they reach your desired doneness.

  • Remove chops from skillet and rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Storage: Cool the beef chops completely before storing them in an airtight container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • Reheating: To reheat, place the chops in a skillet over medium heat, covering to warm through. Alternatively, microwave for 1-2 minutes.
