Fettuccine Alfredo is a classic Italian dish that combines rich, velvety sauce with perfectly cooked pasta, making it the ideal meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

4 tablespoon Butter

500 ml Heavy Cream

1 tablespoon Garlic Powder

300 g Fettuccine or pasta of choice

200 ml Pasta Water

1 cup Parmesan Grated

¼ cup Parsley Chopped

Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine or pasta of your choice, and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet or pan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer on low to medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Add the cooked fettuccine (or pasta) along with the pasta water to the skillet. Let everything simmer together for another 5-10 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. Once the sauce has thickened and the pasta is well coated, remove from heat. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, homemade Fettuccine Alfredo!
