This Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish is a delicious, flaky pastry filled with a creamy, sweet cheese mixture, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Made with refrigerated crescent rolls, this quick and easy recipe is a family favorite. A light vanilla glaze adds the perfect finishing touch!

Ingredients

Danish:

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white

Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Layer Crescent Rolls: Press one can of crescent rolls into the bottom of the pan, sealing the seams.
  • Prepare Filling: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
  • Assemble Danish: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer. Place the second can of crescent rolls on top, gently pressing to fit.
  • Egg Wash: Brush the top layer with the egg white for a golden finish.
  • Bake: Bake for 35-45 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Cool & Glaze: Let cool for 20 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze, then drizzle over the danish.
