Start your day with a delicious and easy Breakfast Cheese Danish made with crescent rolls, cream cheese filling, and a sweet glaze. This quick recipe is perfect for brunch, family gatherings, or a cozy breakfast at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans ready-to-use refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white

For the glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place it in the prepared pan. Pinch the openings together to seal.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg in a bowl until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll dough.
  • Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture. Seal the edges.
  • Brush the top of the dough with egg white.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool for 20 minutes.
  • For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, then drizzle over the cooled danish
