  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms (optional)
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Place in the crockpot.
  • Make the Sauce: Mix cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and garlic. Stir until smooth and pour over the chicken in the crockpot.
  • Slow-Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  • Cook the Pasta: Prepare angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine: About 30 minutes before serving, stir the cooked pasta into the crockpot, coating it well with the sauce.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken with beef for a different flavor.
  • If you want a gluten-free version, simply use gluten-free pasta.
  • Dairy-free? Swap out the cream cheese and soup with non-dairy alternatives.
  • For a low-carb option, serve the dish over zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice instead of pasta.
