Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust based on heat preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg

1 tablespoon water

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Spicy Sauce:

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and water together.

  • Dip each piece of salmon into the egg wash and coat thoroughly with the seasoned flour mixture.

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the salmon bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  • While frying, prepare the spicy sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, and soy sauce in a small bowl.

  • Once the salmon bites are cooked, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  • Toss the crispy salmon bites in the spicy sauce until well-coated.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Baking Option: For a healthier alternative, bake the coated salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.

  • Air-Fryer Option: Cook at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

  • Reheating: Reheat in the oven at 375°F for 5-7 minutes or in an air fryer for a few minutes to maintain crispiness.
