These Condensed Milk Snow Cookies are the ultimate melt-in-your-mouth treat, perfect for holiday gatherings or any occasion. Soft, buttery, and lightly sweetened with condensed milk, they are rolled in powdered sugar to create a snowy finish. Easy to make and irresistible, these cookies will be the star of your dessert table!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, beat the butter until smooth and creamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing just until combined. The dough will be soft but not sticky.
  • Shape & Chill: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while baking.
  • Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  • Dust with Powdered Sugar: While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar, coating them completely. Let them cool completely, then dust with an extra layer of powdered sugar for a snowy finish.

Notes

  • Variations: Add cocoa powder for chocolate snow cookies, finely chopped nuts for a nutty twist, or citrus zest for a refreshing flavor.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Freeze the dough for up to 3 months before baking.
  • Reheating: If you prefer warm cookies, heat in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
