A delicious and energizing breakfast smoothie blending rich cold coffee with creamy ripe bananas, honey, and cacao powder for a satisfying and quick start to your day.

Ingredients

¾ cup cold strong brewed coffee

½ cup whole milk or almond milk

2 medium ripe bananas, peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons unsweetened cacao powder or cocoa powder

½ cup crushed ice cubes

Canned whipped cream (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add the cold coffee, milk, frozen banana slices, honey, cacao powder, and ice cubes to a blender.
  2. Pulse a few times to get the blender blades moving, then blend for 20 to 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses.
  4. Garnish with canned whipped cream if desired.
