Classic Cherry Delight is a timeless, no-bake dessert that combines a buttery graham cracker crust, a creamy cheesecake filling, and a sweet-tart cherry topping. This delightful treat is perfect for gatherings, potlucks, or any occasion that calls for a simple yet indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 9 whole crackers)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

For the Filling:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed

For the Topping:

  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish to create an even layer.
  3. Set aside.

Make the Filling:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until smooth and creamy. Avoid overmixing.

Assemble the Dessert:

  1. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the prepared crust.
  2. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading evenly.

Chill & Serve:

  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow it to set.
  2. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
