Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for coating)
  • ½ cup holiday sprinkles (red and green)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the cake mix, stirring until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in holiday sprinkles for a festive touch.
  6. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Roll the dough into small balls, then coat each ball in powdered sugar.
  9. Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
