2 cups of Wheat Flour
100 g of Dark or Milk Chocolate
1 cup of Granulated Sugar
1 cup of Milk
200 g of Butter
3 Eggs
2 tbsp. of Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp. of Vanilla Extract
1 tsp. of Baking Powder
Melted Chocolate for decoration
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a double boiler, melt the dark or milk chocolate with the butter until smooth.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together until foamy.
Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the egg-sugar mix, and stir until well combined.
Add the vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the mixture, then stir.
Gradually add the flour and milk alternately, mixing until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan, spreading evenly.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool slightly, then slice it horizontally into two layers.
Spread melted chocolate between the layers and decorate the top with more melted chocolate and any extra decoration you desire.
You can replace wheat flour with all-purpose flour or a gluten-free flour blend if needed.
For a richer frosting, top with chocolate ganache or buttercream frosting.
Feel free to add fresh fruit or chopped nuts for extra flavor and texture.
