Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick and flavorful meal packed with juicy garlic-seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and fresh veggies, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for lunch, dinner, or a grab-and-go snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Monterey Jack)
  • Optional toppings: Lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, bell peppers, spinach, caramelized onions

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Toss the cubed chicken with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly coated.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Lay out the tortillas. Add the cooked chicken, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and add any desired toppings.
  • Fold and Heat: Wrap the tortillas securely. Place them in the skillet, seam-side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the cheese melts and the tortillas are golden and crisp.
  • Serve: Slice in half if desired and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Protein Substitutions: Swap chicken with turkey, beef strips, or plant-based options like tofu.
  • Cheese Variations: Try pepper jack for a spicy kick or Swiss for a milder taste.
  • Storage: Wrap leftovers in foil and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: Use a skillet or oven to keep the wraps crispy.
