A sweet and indulgent dessert combining cinnamon rolls, tart apples, and a rich caramel topping. Easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) cinnamon rolls (with icing)

2 cups apples, peeled and diced

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup caramel sauce

1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the apples are evenly coated with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and scatter them evenly over the apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
  6. Pour the caramel sauce over the entire dish, covering the apples and cinnamon rolls.
  7. If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top for added crunch.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle the icing (from the cinnamon roll cans) over the top.
  10. Allow the dessert to cool slightly before serving.

  • Feel free to substitute the apples with pears, peaches, or mixed berries.
  • For a nut-free version, omit the pecans or replace with crumbled graham crackers or oats.
  • Boost the flavor by adding a pinch of nutmeg, clove, or ginger to the apple mixture.
  • To make this vegan, use plant-based cinnamon rolls, dairy-free butter, and vegan-friendly caramel sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute or in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
