This blueberry peach bread is a delicious and moist treat, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a sweet snack. The sweet, juicy peaches paired with the burst of blueberries create a flavor combination that's irresistible.

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 cup diced peaches, peeled (about 3 peaches)

1 cup blueberries

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 stick butter, room temperature

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in the sour cream until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries and diced peaches to ensure an even distribution without crushing the fruit.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
