Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and let them cool slightly.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce. Remove from heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  5. Spoon the beef and marinara sauce mixture over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
