Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
  • Roll up the dough from the wide end, tucking in the sides to seal the filling inside.
  • Place the stuffed rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs for added crunch, if desired.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding spinach, mushrooms, or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
  • Make these rolls ahead of time by assembling them and refrigerating them for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
