Ingredients

1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  4. Fill the Crescents: Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.

  5. Roll and Place: Roll the crescents from the wide end to the tip, sealing the filling inside. Arrange them on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet.

  6. Brush with Butter: Gently brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden finish.

  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the filling is heated through.

  8. Serve: Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick: Add diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling for a spicy twist.

  • Cheese Variations: Substitute cheddar with mozzarella, Swiss, or pepper jack for different flavors.

  • Vegetable Add-ins: Add sautéed bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms for extra flavor.

  • Herbs: Fresh herbs like parsley, dill, or thyme can be mixed into the filling for an aromatic touch.
