Apple Pie Moonshine Gummies are a delightful adult treat combining warm apple pie spices with a boozy kick from moonshine or apple pie liquor, perfect for festive gatherings or fun seasonal snacking.

Ingredients

1 cup apple juice

1 cup apple cider

1 cup water

1 package (3 oz) gelatin (any flavor)

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup moonshine or apple pie liquor

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the apple juice, apple cider, and water. Heat over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
  2. Whisk in the gelatin until fully dissolved, followed by the granulated sugar. Continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the moonshine, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Lightly spray a gummy bear mold or a silicone mold of your choice with cooking spray for easy removal.
  5. Pour the mixture into the molds, filling each cavity evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the gummies are set and firm to the touch.
  7. Once set, carefully remove the gummies from the molds. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Substitute apple juice with pear juice or add lemon juice for a tart twist.
  • Add ground cloves or allspice for richer fall flavor.
  • Use bourbon, spiced rum, or flavored vodka instead of moonshine for variety.
  • Use sugar substitutes for a lower sugar version.
  • Omit alcohol and add extra apple juice or cider for a kid-friendly version.
  • Store gummies in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks; do not freeze.
  • Lightly spray molds to prevent sticking and ease removal.
  • Silicone molds work best for easy removal and fun shapes.
  • Alcohol remains in gummies; consume responsibly and keep away from children.
