Apple Delight is an easy, no-bake dessert with layers of buttery graham cracker crust, cream cheese, whipped topping, apple pie filling, and crunchy pecans. Perfect for any occasion, it’s a beginner-friendly treat that requires only 20 minutes of prep time.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 8 oz whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)

  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling

  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking dish. Freeze while preparing the filling.

  • Make the Cream Cheese Layer: Beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping and spread the mixture over the chilled crust.

  • Add the Apple Filling: Evenly spread the apple pie filling over the cream cheese layer.

  • Top with Whipped Topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the apple layer. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Garnish and Serve: Before serving, sprinkle chopped pecans over the dessert and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • If you prefer a nut-free version, simply omit the pecans.

  • For a homemade touch, you can use homemade apple filling instead of canned.

  • To make a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers for the crust.
