These Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are the perfect combination of juicy, flavorful chicken with a crisp, golden exterior. Packed with the delicious flavors of garlic, Parmesan cheese, and herbs, these skewers are a simple and quick meal that can be made right in your air fryer.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried parsley

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp lemon juice

Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir until well-mixed.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss them in the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Let the chicken marinate for about 10–15 minutes for maximum flavor.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Place the skewers into the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded for even cooking.
  6. Air fry the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and are golden and crispy on the outside.
  7. Once done, remove the skewers from the air fryer, let them rest for a few minutes, and then serve hot.

Notes

  • Leftover chicken skewers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place the skewers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 4-5 minutes or in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes.
  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • You can wrap each chicken cube in a slice of bacon before threading it onto the skewer for added flavor.
  • Experiment with different herbs like thyme or rosemary for a different flavor profile.
