This 3 Ingredient Baked Ravioli, also known as Lazy Lasagna, is a quick and comforting casserole made with frozen cheese ravioli, pasta sauce, and mozzarella cheese. It mimics traditional lasagna flavors with a fraction of the effort.

Ingredients

1 (24 oz) bag of frozen cheese ravioli

1 (24 oz) jar of pasta sauce (any kind)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (heaping)

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread about 3/4 cup of pasta sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  4. Top with half of the remaining pasta sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Add the remaining ravioli, then top with the rest of the sauce and mozzarella. Sprinkle parmesan on top if using.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sides like salad, roasted veggies, or garlic bread.

Notes

You can use refrigerated ravioli by reducing covered baking time by 5–10 minutes.

Try with different sauces like alfredo or pesto for variety.

Add cooked ground meat or vegetables for extra flavor and texture.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

This dish can be frozen and reheated from frozen or after thawing.
