Striped Delight is a no-bake layered dessert featuring a graham cracker crust, cream cheese and Cool Whip layer, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping. It's simple to make and perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup melted butter

1/4 cup sugar (for crust)

2 packages (4-serving size) instant chocolate pudding

3 cups cold milk (for pudding)

1/2 cup sugar (for cream cheese layer)

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup milk (for cream cheese layer)

1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed (plus more for topping)

1 Hershey’s bar, grated (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing the layers.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mixes and 3 cups cold milk until well blended. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup milk in a bowl using a whisk or mixer until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in 8 oz of Cool Whip until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
  7. Spoon the chocolate pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Spread remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
  9. Optional: Garnish with chocolate shavings from a Hershey’s bar.
  10. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free graham crackers for a gluten-free version.
  • Substitute with vanilla pudding for a different flavor profile.
  • Homemade whipped cream can be used in place of Cool Whip.
  • Do not freeze as the texture may change when thawed.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
