Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy. Pour this mixture over the strawberry filling, spreading evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cheesecake mixture, covering the entire surface.
  5. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. If desired, sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is cooked through.
  7. Let the cake cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
