Jugo de Lulo, also known as 'little orange juice,' is a refreshing tropical beverage from Colombia and Ecuador. With its tangy flavor and simple ingredients, it’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

3 oz Frozen Lulo Pulp

8 oz Filtered Cold Water

4 cubes Ice

Instructions

  1. Add 3 ounces of frozen lulo pulp, 4 ice cubes, and 1 cup of cold filtered water to a blender.
  2. Blend for about a minute, or use the iced drink setting if your blender has one. Ensure the mixture is well-blended for a balanced sweet and tangy flavor.
  3. Serve immediately, or store in the fridge to chill.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, add a teaspoon of sugar or sweetener of your choice. Adjust to your desired sweetness level.
  • Add a few fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
  • Combine lulo with other citrus fruits for a citrusy punch.
  • Replace water with sparkling water for a fizzy variation.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Stir before serving if it separates.
  • It’s best served chilled. Avoid reheating, but store in the fridge for later consumption.
