A simple yet flavorful recipe for juicy, melt-in-your-mouth chicken breasts coated in mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) and Parmesan cheese. The creamy mixture locks in moisture, while the savory cheese gives it an irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

4 boneless chicken breast halves

1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan cheese, seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until well-mixed.
  3. Place the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is golden brown on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter version.
  • Add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the mayonnaise mixture for extra flavor.
  • For a spicy twist, add hot sauce or chili powder to the mixture.
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts, though they may require a longer cooking time.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
