Kool Aid Pie is a nostalgic, no-bake dessert that offers a creamy, colorful, and refreshing twist on a classic treat. It's made with sweetened condensed milk, Kool Aid, whipped topping, and a graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (1 can)

2 tablespoons strawberry syrup or strawberry jelly

0.19 ounces Kool Aid powder (one packet, use strawberry, strawberry lemonade, or your favorite flavor)

8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)

9-inch graham cracker pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Garnishes (Optional): whipped cream, strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, strawberry syrup, and Kool Aid powder. Whisk together until the color is even and the Kool Aid is completely dissolved.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is creamy and consistent in color.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared graham cracker pie crust.
  4. Cover the pie lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours, or until it sets.
  5. When ready to serve, remove the pie from the refrigerator and garnish with whipped cream or whipped topping and fresh strawberries. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Flavor Options: Try different Kool Aid flavors like tropical punch, lemonade, or cherry for variety.
  • Homemade Graham Cracker Crust: If you prefer homemade crust, mix 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 6 tablespoons melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie pan and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before adding the filling.
  • Toppings: You can top the pie with fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries, or even pineapple for added flavor.
  • Storage: Leftover Kool Aid Pie should be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Make in Advance: This pie can be made up to 2 days in advance. Just keep it covered in the refrigerator and garnish just before serving.
  • Freezing: If you want to make it ahead of time, Kool Aid Pie can be frozen for up to 1 month. Be sure to wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Thaw it overnight in the refrigerator before serving, or enjoy it as a frozen treat.
