Ingredients

2 Chicken Breasts, cooked and diced

¼ cup Honey Garlic Sauce

¼ cup Buffalo Wing Sauce or plain hot sauce (e.g., Frank's Red Hot)

2 heads Romaine Lettuce, chopped and washed

36 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing or any dressing of choice

½ medium Red Onion, diced

1 large Red Bell Pepper, diced

½ large Cucumber, diced

Cheese, shredded (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the cooked and diced chicken with the honey garlic sauce and buffalo wing sauce. Toss to fully coat the chicken.
  2. In a separate large bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with your choice of dressing until evenly coated.
  3. Divide the dressed romaine lettuce between two large plates or bowls.
  4. Top each salad with diced red onion, bell pepper, cucumber, and shredded cheese (if using).
  5. Spoon the hot honey-glazed chicken over the salad.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce to suit your preferred spice level.
  • Store any leftover salad components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
  • Reheat the hot honey-glazed chicken in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through. Assemble the salad fresh when ready to serve.
  • For a vegan option, substitute the chicken with crispy tofu, use a vegan dressing, and omit the cheese.
  • This salad is gluten-free as long as you use gluten-free dressing and ensure all other ingredients are gluten-free.
  • Adding fruits like sliced apples, pears, or berries can provide a sweet contrast to the spicy chicken.
  • Feel free to use other cheese types like mozzarella, feta, or blue cheese instead of cheddar.
