A comforting and hearty casserole that combines ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, green beans, and cheese with a crunchy topping. Perfect for weeknight dinners or as a dish to share with family and friends.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

½ cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup French fried onions

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Once fully cooked, drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
