A deliciously spicy, smoky, and crunchy BBQ-flavored snack that’s easy to make and perfect for parties or quick bites.

Ingredients

Cornflakes or your preferred crunchy cereal - 4 cups

BBQ seasoning powder - 2 tbsp

Chili powder or cayenne pepper - 1 tsp (adjust to taste)

Smoked paprika - 1 tsp

Garlic powder - 1 tsp

Onion powder - 1 tsp

Salt - 1/2 tsp

Cooking oil (vegetable or olive) - 2 tbsp

Optional: pinch of sugar - 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornflakes with BBQ seasoning, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and optional sugar.
  3. Drizzle cooking oil over the mixture and toss gently until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even crispiness. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely to allow it to become crunchier.
  7. Store in an airtight container once cooled and enjoy as a snack anytime.
