A creamy and comforting casserole combining tender chicken, pasta, and rich Alfredo sauce, baked with melted cheese to create a hearty, crowd-pleasing meal perfect for weeknights or family dinners.

Ingredients

Cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced

Pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)

Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Grated Parmesan cheese

Minced garlic

Olive oil or butter

Salt and pepper

Fresh parsley or basil (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Add cooked chicken to the skillet and warm through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil if desired, and serve warm.
